How to Freeze Blueberries

Can you freeze fresh BLUEBERRIES?

Absolutely! Blueberries freeze really well! It's one of the most common frozen fruits. Learn how you can freeze fresh picked blueberries at home.

Follow along to learn how you can freeze fresh blueberries...

...the right way. Using this easy method.

STEP 1

Cover a baking sheet (with a lip) with parchment paper.

STEP 2

DO NOT rinse your fresh blueberries or you will remove the bloom (a waxy coating that naturall protects blueberries).

STEP 3

Spread blueberries out on the baking sheet and freeze for 1-2 hours.

STEP 4

Once frozen remove the blueberries and store in a gallon sized freezer bag.
