  • 1 Slow Cooker
  • 1 gallon freezer bag
  • 1 High-speed blender, or Immersion blender
Ingredients
  
  • 56 oz Diced tomatoes 2 (28 oz) Cans
  • 14.5 oz Tomato Sauce Can
  • 14.5 oz Chicken broth Can
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 Red bell pepper Diced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Raw honey
  • 1 bunch Fresh basil Diced
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
Instructions
 
Prep/freezer directions
  • Label freezer bag, according to preferred method.
  • Add all ingredients, except fresh basil, and heavy cream, to labeled freezer bag.
  • Seal bag, remove as much air as possible and freeze for up to three months.
Slow Cooker directions:
  • No need to thaw, recipe can go straight from freezer to slow cooker.
  • Dump contents of freezer bag into slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  • Blend tomato soup until smooth, then stir in fresh basil and heavy cream.
  • Serve - Optional: Garnish with fresh basil
