Maple Mustard Salmon and Brussels Sprouts Freezer Meal Recipe

  • 1 gallon freezer bag
  • 1 Quart freezer bag
  • 1 Large deep baking pan
  • Parchment Paper
Ingredients
  
  • 4 salmon filets 6-8 oz each
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts ends cut off and halved
Sauce(Whisk together)
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Black pepper
Instructions
 
Prep/freezer directions
  • Label gallon freezer bag according to your preferred labeling method.
  • Whisk together sauce ingredients and pour 1/3 into a small bag, then place inside a quart sized bag.
  • Add all remaining ingredients into labeled gallon freezer bag, shake to fully coat ingredients.
  • Place quart freezer bag containing sauce into gallon bag.
  • Seal bag, removing as much air as possible, and freeze for up to three months.
Oven cooking directions:
  • Thaw freezer bag in fridge 12 -24 hours before cooking.
  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Cover a large deep baking pan with Parchment paper. Dump freezer bag contents onto baking pan, set sauce packet aside. Lay out salmon, and surround with brussels sprouts.
  • Cook in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
  • After cooking, brush sauce packet onto salmon and brussels sprouts.
  • Serve and Enjoy!!!

Notes

The reason for using double bags on the sauce portion is an extra preventative measure from having the raw meat toughing the serving sauce.
