Garlic Butter Salmon with Asparagus Freezer Meal Recipe
If there were two savory flavors that were destined to be paired, they are garlic and butter. We love garlic butter with many things - on bread, over pasta, or drizzling atop roasted mushrooms - but we especially love garlic butter on salmon. It is the reason behind our Garlic Butter Salmon with Asparagus.

1 gallon freezer bag
1 Deep baking pan
Parchment Paper
- 4 Salmon filets 6-8 oz each
- 1 lb Asparagus Chopped into 1-2 inch pieces
- 4 tbsp butter Cut into 1tbsp pieces
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 Lemon Sliced
Prep/freezer directionsPrepare a gallon freezer bag, labeling according to your preferred method.
Add all ingredients to the freezer bag.
Seal and shake to fully coat ingredients.
Reseal, removing as much air as possible, and freeze for up to three months.
Oven cooking directions:Thaw freezer bag in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours before cooking.
Preheat oven to 400F.
Cover a large, deep baking pan with parchment paper. Dump the contents of the freezer bag onto the pan.
Lay salmon filets flat, placing 1 lemon slice and 1 slice of butter on top. Surround salmon filets with asparagus.
Cook in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
