Easy Stovetop Popcorn Recipe

  • 1/3 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or oil of preference
  • 2 tbsp butter optional, brings the buttery vibes
  • 2 pinch Salt

Instructions:
  • Pour 1 tbsp. oil into stovetop pan over med-high heat (Be sure the pan you choose have a lid, you will need this later on)
  • As oil heats up add in 1 tbsp. butter and in 3 or 4 popcorn kernels.
  • Wait for popcorn kernels in oil/butter to pop the pour in the rest of the kernels and set lid on pan.
  • Remove from heat with lid for 30 seconds (Do not turn off stovetop)
  • Set pan back onto heat and shake back and forth until the popping slows down to (3 or 4 seconds between pops) TIP: lift an edge of the lid as you pop for crispier popcorn
  • Pour into a bowl, sprinkle with salt if desired and enjoy!
  • Optional: For extra buttery popcorn melt 1 tbsp. in pan and pour over popped popcorn, then mix in with salt.
