1 lb sweet Italian sausage 2 tsp onion powder 1 tbsp garlic powder 14.5 oz diced tomato can 4 cups chicken broth or broth of preference 4 cups Water 20 oz cheese tortellini 10 oz spinach frozen 1 tsp dried basil 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1 bay leaf

Freezer Prep Directions: Prepare a gallon freezer bag, labeling according to your preferred method.
Add ingredients, except water, broth, spinach, and tortellini, to a freezer bag.
Seal bag, removing as much air as possible, and freeze for up to three months. (Keep Tortellini in original packaging and stick in freezer).
Slow Cooker Directions: Thaw freezer bag in fridge 12-24 hours before cooking.
Add freezer bag contents into slow cooker, plus 4 cups broth and 4 cups water.
Cook on low for 2-3 hours, add spinach and tortellini during the last 1 hour of cooking time.
Stir, serve and enjoy! Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley and parmesan cheese.
