Honey Dijon Chicken Marinade
This recipe is delicious, and super juicy. Perfectly marinade, and wonderfully cooked, this crockpot freezer meal is the perfect marinade with honey dijon chicken.
Equipment
- gallon freezer bag
Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs Chicken Breasts or Thighs
Honey Dijon Marinade (Whisk Together):
- 1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp Garlic
Instructions
Freezer Prep Directions
- Prepare a gallon freezer bag, labeling according to your preferred method.
- Add chicken to freezer bag, whisk together marinade, then pour over chicken in freezer bag.
- Seal bag, removing as much air as possible, and freeze for up to three months.
Slow Cooker Directions
- Thaw freezer bag in fridge 12-24 hours before cooking.
- Dump contents of the freezer bag into a slow cooker.
- Cook on low 4-6 hours.
- Remove from slow cooker and serve. Optional: Make some extra honey Dijon marinade to serve with the cooked chicken.
Instant Pot Directions
- Dump the contents of the freezer bag into the Instant Pot, add 1/2 cup water.
- Set to High Pressure for 20 minutes, then allow a 10-minute natural release followed by a quick release.
- Remove from slow cooker and serve. Optional: Make some extra honey Dijon marinade to serve with the cooked chicken.
