  • 1 gallon freezer bag
Ingredients
 
 
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lb bacon cooked and diced
  • 1 cup onions diced
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 28 oz diced tomatoes can
  • 6 oz tomato paste can
  • 14.5 oz black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
Instructions
 
Freezer Prep Directions:
  • Prepare a gallon freezer bag, labeling according to your preferred method.
  • Add all ingredients, except diced tomatoes, to the freezer bag. 
  • Seal bag, removing as much air as possible, and freeze for up to three months.
Slow Cooker Directions:
  • Thaw freezer bag in fridge 12-24 hours before cooking.
  • Dump contents of the freezer bag, plus 28 oz can diced tomatoes, to a slow cooker. (DO NOT STIR).
  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  • After cooking break up and crumble beef, stir to combine everything, serve, and enjoy!
Instant Pot Directions
  1. Dump the contents of the freezer bag into the Instant Pot, add 28 oz can diced tomatoes, to a slow cooker. (DO NOT STIR).
  2. Set to High Pressure for 25 minutes, then allow a 10-minute natural release followed by a quick release. 
  3. After cooking break up and crumble beef, stir to combine everything, serve, and enjoy!

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 2 x 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 16 oz bag frozen corn
  • 4 cup black beans
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 5 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp ground coriander

How To Make A Sweet Chili Fresh (Not Frozen)

  • Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven or large stovetop pot over medium-high heat. Add onion and sauté 3-5 min, or until onion begins to soften.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for one minute.
  • Add in ground beef and brown. Once brown, drain beef, then add back into the Dutch oven.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 30-45 minutes. (THIS CHILI IS SERIOUSLY SO GOOD!)
  • Stir and serve! If freezing, then go to freezer directions.
  • Freezer Directions:
  • Label Freezer bag with recipe name, cooking directions below and expiration date (today’s date plus three months)
  • Be sure to let chili cool before freezing in gallon ziplock bags…IF you have leftovers.
  • Seal bag, removing as much air as possible and freeze for up to three months
