Popular Substitutions and Additions

  • Ground Beef or Turkey: If chicken isn’t your favorite, substitute for ground beef or turkey. It will yield a slightly different flavor, but the heartiness will be the same.
  • Peanut Butter: You can use peanut butter in place of the almond or cashew butter for the sauce.
  • Deglet Noor Dates: If you cannot locate medjool dates (or if they’re too sweet for your liking), Deglet Noor dates are a great option!

  • Sliced Avocado: A great, creamy addition to add when you serve in the Boston Lettuce leaves!
  • Slivered Almonds: If you love an extra crunch, sprinkle some of these on top of the wrap before folding and enjoying.
