Storage Tips
- Make sure to seal your freezer bags tightly.
- Label the date you made the meal, and expiration date of 3 months from that date.
- Lay bag flat so that it freezes evenly.
- Do not stack any other meal on top of this freezer meal until it is frozen.

Equipment
- 1 gallon freezer bag
Ingredients
- 2 cans Chick Peas 14.5 oz
- 1 cup Green Lentils
- 1 can Full Fat Coconut Milk 14.5 oz
- 1 cup Onion diced
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1/2 tsp Celery Seed
- 2 cups Spinach
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 tbsp Ground Turmeric
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- 2 cups carrots shredded
- 1 Red Bell Pepper diced
Instructions
Freezer Directions
- Label a gallon freezer bag with recipe name and cooking directions.
- Add all ingredients, except the broth and coconut milk, into a labeled gallon freezer bag.
- Seal bag, removing as much air as possible, and freeze for up to three months.
Cooking Instructions
- Thaw overnight in the fridge or in the morning in water (meal may not be 100% thawed but that is ok).
- Dump contents of the freezer bag into the slow cooker, add coconut milk and broth into the slow cooker, and stir.
- Cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours.
- Stir in spinach and serve
