How to make Easy Appetizer Boiled Peanuts in the Slow Cooker.
- crockpot
- 2 lbs green peanuts
- 2 quarts water
- 1/3 cup sea salt
- Wash Peanuts of dirt and debris
- Add all ingredients to the crockpot and mix together
- Cook on low for 5-6 hours
- Drain and serve immediately, or drain and store for 3-5 days in an air tight container
- Label a gallon freezer bag with expiration date, 6 months from the day.
- Add peanuts into freezer bag to preserve freshness
- Remove as much air from bag as possible and seal.
- Do not add salt and water, these will be added day of cooking.

This boiled peanuts recipe is super easy to freezer meal prep. Simply add the peanuts to a gallon freezer bag before they go bad. Freezing the peanuts will allow the freshness to remain and will avoid the peanuts going bad.
