  • 1 Slow Cooker or Instant Pot
Ingredients
  
  • 2-3 lbs Beef chuck roast
  • 1/2 cup Tamari
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
For serving:
  • Gluten-free tortillas
  • Taco toppings of choice
Instructions
 
Prep/freezer directions:
  • Prepare a gallon freezer bag, labeling according to your preferred method.
  • Add all ingredients to the freezer bag. 
  • Seal bag, removing as much air as possible, then shake to evenly coat and freeze for up to three months.
Crockpot cooking directions:
  • Thaw freezer bag in fridge 12-24 hours before cooking. 
  • Dump the contents of the freezer bag into a slow cooker. 
  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours. 
  • Shred beef, stir in slow cooker and serve as tacos. 
Instant Pot Directions
  1. Dump the contents of the freezer bag into the Instant Pot, add ½ cup water. 
  2. Set to High Pressure for 35 minutes, then allow a 10-minute natural release followed by a quick release. 
  3. Shred beef, stir in instant pot, and serve as tacos. Optional: Topping with your favorite taco toppings.
